After-school sports programs and summer camps provide essential social-emotional growth and physical education opportunities for children with limited access to enrichment and outdoor play, offering both physical and mental health benefits. Active kids grow to be healthier adults.
Youth Sports For All enrolls girls and boys in grades K-8 across Wards 5, 6, 7, and 8 in high-quality after-school and summer sports and recreation programs, focusing on those with limited access and financial barriers.
Our vision is to expand access so that every public and public charter school student in DC has access to high quality sports and recreation after-school and all summer long — thereby improving public safety, community health and economic opportunities in the District of Columbia.

In 2024 we facilitated 208 registrations into 12 different sports programs such as soccer, flag football, trapeze, and ultimate frisbee.
