the fields
The Fields at RFK Campus feature three multi-purpose turf playing fields to accommodate soccer, lacrosse, baseball, softball, kickball, ultimate frisbee and more. All organized activities require a permit.

the pavilion
The Celebration Pavilion near Field 2 is a covered, paved outdoor space of more than 3,000 square feet that can be rented on an hourly basis for parties, meetings, classes, and other social/cultural events.

the playground
The playground area is open daily from 8am until dusk, for youth ages 12 and under, with adult supervision. Patrons may hold small birthday parties and other informal events in the adjacent picnic area, which may be reserved, free of charge at the concession stand 48 hours in advance.

A state-of-the-art multi-purpose sports complex, The Fields include: three full-size turf playing fields that can accommodate a variety of sports, plus a celebration pavilion, playground, picnic area, green space, walking and biking paths, improved river access, and dedicated parking.
More than 150,000 patrons visited The Fields during 2024. This included over 5,000 hours of permitted playing time and more than 1,000 hours of Community Open Play, not including a number of special events hosted by Events DC.
