Giving Tuesday 2024

Happy Giving Tuesday!

At Go Play, we believe in the power of play – for every kid regardless of background, ability, or circumstance. This Giving Tuesday, we invite you to help us continue to provide meaningful opportunities for youth to experience the joy and benefits of sports and recreation.

Through our Youth Sports For All program, we provide high-quality after-school and summer sports programs to young people in grades K-8, particularly in underserved areas of our city—Wards 5, 6, 7, and 8. YSFA is more than just a program—it’s a lifeline for families who may face financial or structural barriers that prevent their children from participating in organized sports.

You give. We enroll, secure scholarships, and purchase the equipment. The kids go play.

With your help, we can enroll youth in TWELVE different sports including soccer, flag football, golf, trapeze, and ultimate frisbee. This year, we registered kids for over 200 scholarships and purchased $5,700 in new equipment and other fees, and it's just the third full year.

But we can't do it alone. We need your support to continue this important work and to give more kids the opportunity to be well-coached, build skills, and play as part of a team.

How Your Donation Makes a Difference:

  • $50 buys a soccer ball or football for a young player.

  • $100 buys a pair of cleats and shin guards.

  • $250 pays for an entire season for one child.

  • $500 supports two children for a week of summer sport camp.

Every dollar you donate helps us remove barriers to participation and provides a safe, fun, and supportive environment where kids can learn, grow, and play.

Donate Today and help us ensure that every child has the opportunity to play, no matter their circumstances. Thank you for your generosity and for making a difference in the lives of young people!

With gratitude,
Anne Corbett
